We are all super busy in our lives, trying somehow to make our as well as our close one’s future secured, healthy, & happy. Unfortunately our busy, hectic, stressful lives are making our today miserable and there is little hope that such kind of struggle today will lead to any thing good tomorrow.

The kind of stress we are inflicting ourselves is actually taking serious toll on both our mental as well our physical health.  We are doing every thing unhealthy that can possibly be done to our body.

Even our choice of food now a days is far from healthy and contributing full on towards us being seriously unwell.  The kind of food that we are eating for the sake of taste and fast food is really disheartening.

It will be very hard and for most of us it will be almost impossible to part with the current  stressed life style we are leading no matter how hard we try, but at least we must try to control one aspect of our life which we all can, and that is what we eat.

Apart from eating (not over eating) food which are HEALTHY we should try adding a few supper supplements which will aid in improving our immune system and make us  feel healthy physically as well as mentally.

In the name of supplements I don’t want you to start purchasing costly highly processed ingredients which might do more harm then good.

Now let’s come to the main topic. I have shortlisted 3 such highly beneficial supplements which we should take in small portions daily. These three ingredients are an indispensable part  of Ayurveda, these were used to treat various ailments from the Vedic period and are prized by modern medical science and medicine companies as well.

The sacred tulsi plant

Number one in the list is Ocimum  tenuiflorum (synonym Ocimum sanctum), commonly known as holy basil, tulasi (sometimes spelled thulasi) or tulsi, is an aromatic perennial plant in the family Lamiaceae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent and widespread as a cultivated plant throughout the Southeast Asian countries.

Tulasi is cultivated for religious and traditional medicine purposes, and  It  has a special  place within the Vaishnava tradition of Hinduism, in which devotees perform worship involving holy basil plants or leaves. This plant is revered by Hindu religion and is used in several  Ayurvedic concoctions.

A few basil leaves daily can keep you miles away from lot of ailments. It is even said that two leaves of the basil plant can even keep cancer at bay. You can simply chew few of its leaves daily and it will sure to work wonders.

This is a very small plant which can easily be grown in pots, so suitable for small apartments. The other big benefit of growing this plant in your apartment  is it purifies the air , specially helpful in polluted city livings.

The second on my list is Aloe Vera.

Aloe vera

It’s got antiviral and antibacterial properties, and the ability to help treat everything from constipation to diabetes. The green-cactus looking plant that sits out in your garden isn’t just a plant with its roots in folklore, it’s the crux of a million dollar industry that extends from beauty creams to healthy juices and diet supplements. Over time, aloe vera has seamlessly integrated itself into everything we use. But what makes this miracle plant so distinguishable?Ayurveda refers to aloe vera as the miracle herb that can be used to treat wounds, minor cuts, dry skin and severe burns.

I will suggest you all to have one cap full of Aloe Vera extract and mix it with a glass of water and drink it every morning on empty stomach each day.

Now a days several brands extract the juice of this miracle plant and sell it in most of the department as well a medical stores.

Indian gooseberry amla juice secures the 3rd position on my list of super but natural supplements.

Indian gooseberry Amla

The list of Indian gooseberry or amla is a never ending one. But why I included  this in my  list is because daily portion of this miracle fruit will enhance your immunity, detox you, keep your Stomach and digestive sytem working perfectly as well as take care of your skin and hair. You should buy a bottle of amla juice and have it every day same way as I suggested for aloe Vera juice.

You can also mix about two table spoon each of aloevera juice as well as amla juice together in a glass of water and have it every morning on empty stomach. you can purchase pure amla juice from any departmental store or even better if you get fresh or dried Indian gooseberry and have a few pieces of it every day.

Try consuming these super but natural supplements daily and see the difference in you, and yes for these supplements to work better I suggest you at least do some sort of exercise, at leat walk for half an hour  3 days a week.

  1. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think
I would never understand. It seems too complicated and
very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post,
I’ll try to get the hang of it!
